Born in Montreal, and am currently based in Toronto. I would define myself first as an impressionist painter, and second as an experimental media artist. As an OCAD drawing and painting graduate traditional oil painting techniques have always started my process of creating images and stories on canvas. My work is constantly changing. It is focused more on the principles of movement, colour, shape and form. It has been liberating to start experimenting with different materials, allowing me to lift ideas off the surface to create relief sculptural objects from the ready-made. As a visual arts specialist, I have devoted the last 11 years to teaching and facilitating art workshops within the community. Private and corporate commissions have been my biggest achievements thus far in the Arts. Connecting with others enriches my creative process.
